WHICH ONE WILL YOU FEED
We are born with a clear slate (so they say). What does this mean to you? As for me, it means we have faith when we are born but learn fear over time. We have faith that we will be taken care of. If someone forgets to feed the baby or change a diaper, the baby learns fear that this may happen again!
What is EGO? I used it loosely in the title of this post however, it is NOT as definitive as one might suspect. (and I’m not going to explain myself) I was trying to decide, “do I write about ego or do I write about self esteem?”
I see things sometimes as if I were looking at a graph. (This comes from my college days, no doubt where everything is based on “the Bell Curve”. This concept saved a lot of Professors’ careers as it gave a way to pass the majority of their class although they may not have been able to convey their subject matter!)
When you measure life, nothing is 100 percent. This includes your Ego, your Self Esteem, your Faith and your Fears.
YOU NEED TO DECIDE
Everything I wrote in this post is meant to prepare you for the following:
- Your Ego is what it is because of what you decided to Feed It
- Your Self Esteem is what it is because of what you decided to Feed It
- Your Faith is what it is because of what you decided to Feed It
Likewise, your Fears and Doubts are what they are because of what you decided to Feed It.
Today, I was reminded of a truism: “if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a life-time”.
I just read this a little differently worded but it has the same meaning. Ask yourself this question:
Why would you teach this man to fish?
I think about this a lot because of a promise I made years ago. That promise is when I make it, I will help to take care of others. This is what we are all about here at COMPUMATRIX.
Why Compumatrix? Here are some better questions:
- Why are you reading this?
- What are you looking for?
- Will you find it with us?
Is Compumatrix for you? Since you have read this much, you might want to know more about Why, What, Where and How!
